Overworked

Overworked
For a couple of years new I've been blaming it on iron deficient blood, lack of vitamins, dieting, and a dozen other maladies. But now I found out the REAL reason. I'm tired because I'm overworked!

The population of this country is 237 million. With 104 million retiered. That leaves 133 million to do all the work.

There are 85 million people in school, which leaves 48 million to do the work.

Of this, there are 29 million employed by the federal government, leaving 19 million to do the work.

Four of that 19 million are inlisted in the armed forces. Which leaves 15 million poeple to do all the work.

Take from that the 14,800,000 people who work for the state and city governments, and you are left with 200,000 to do the work.

Then you have to deduct the 188,000 people that are ill in hospitals. Leaving only 12,000 people to do the work.

And then, of course, there are the 11,998 inmates locked up in state and federal prisons, penitentaries and jails throughout the country. Which leaves a grande total of TWO people left, to do all of the work. You... and me!
