|1¼||cups||Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice|
|from 3 med Valencia Oranges|
|1||cup||Filtered Water (or bottled)|
|3||tbls||Egg Whites *|
|1||tsp||Pure Vanilla Extract|
|1½||cups||Ice (from filtered or bottled water)|
You know what to do!!
Combine all of the ingredients except ice in a blender and blend on high speed for 15 to 30 seconds, until the sugar is dissolved. Add the ice and blend for another 10 to 15 seconds or so, until ice is mostly crushed yet still a bit coarse.
* If the idea of raw eggs makes you cringe, use pasteurized egg whites found packaged in your local supermarket or just use egg substitute, which is also made from pasteurized egg whites . . . and may ketchup always find your shirt.
